Where Heart Meets Hustle
MEET OUR FAMILY-RUN BUSINESS
THE WILCOX STORY
Wilcox Foods has been proudly rooted in the Bay Area since 1946 – that’s nearly 80 years of unsurpassed quality, safety, and service. From our origins in the ice warehouses of San Francisco, we’ve grown to become one of the most trusted Bay Area food distributors. But that’s just the beginning.
In 2021, Wilcox Foods was acquired by the Schoop family, who were long standing customers of Wilcox through their San Francisco-based concessions business, Annie’s Hot Dogs. Cathy, David and Allison Schoop bring extensive food and customer service experience, and the same pioneering spirit that’s in the heart of every San Franciscan.
What has never changed is this: When many companies treat you like a number, the most courageous thing we can do is care. We’re dedicated to doing whatever it takes to help you succeed; like offering high-quality products at unbeatable prices, or flexible delivery windows with no cut-off times, or even personal deliveries and cold storage when you’re in a pinch.
Simply put, we’re guided by a passion for helping our community, serving institutional and retail foodservice providers, nonprofits, hospitals, restaurants, and independent operators in the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond.
Proudly recognized as a WBENC-certified Woman-Owned Business, and Legacy Business by SF Small Business Commission.
